Another milestone

I am now sitting unassisted!  I used to have to put my hands down to keep my balance, but now I can sit without my hands touching the floor, at least for a few seconds at a time.  Everyday I practice and get a little more confident. Here's some pictures:

 

It's kind of hard lately for Mommy to get a picture of me without my hands in my mouth - I've been teething for awhile now and I hope I'll get a tooth or two very soon!

I make Mommy and Daddy laugh all the time!  I yell at the dogs when they're being to rough or loud, and the other day when Mommy was feeding me she turned around for a couple of seconds and when she turned back I had the spoon in my hand and was trying to feed myself - she was taking too long, and I was hungry! 

Mommy gave me a bath the other day (in the big bathtub), and was using the hand-held shower head to rinse me off; I had fun sticking my face in the water, then pulling it out and giggling.  I really want to be more mobile and independent, but I can't quite crawl yet.  I like to try to stand up whenever I can, though - maybe I'll skip crawling altogether and go straight to walking.
